Net-30 Vendor Accounts, Explained
The fastest way to put positive payment history on your business file — without a personal guarantee.
By MMT Editorial
A net-30 account lets you buy now and pay within 30 days. When the vendor reports that payment to the business bureaus, you build a positive tradeline — often with no personal credit check.
How to use them
- Open 3–5 net-30 accounts with vendors that actually report (many don't — that's the catch).
- Make small, real purchases you'd make anyway (office supplies, shipping, packaging).
- Pay early. Early payments are what move your PAYDEX toward 100.
- Wait 30–60 days for the tradeline to appear, then add revolving credit.
What to look for
- Reports to D&B, Experian Business, and/or Equifax Business (confirm before you open).
- Low or no annual fee.
- Products you can actually use.
Browse vetted reporting vendors in the Marketplace → Net-30+ Vendors tab. Open a few, pay early, and watch your file grow.
